James Bacon

James has fifteen years experience facilitating sales effectiveness and presentation skills programs to the corporate world. He is fortunate to have trained and coached people from some of the world’s leading organisations including Google, Amazon, PwC, ANZ Bank, SingTel, King & Wood Mallesons, Fuji Xerox and Toyota.

 

Since 2007 he has worked extensively with Google in Europe and Asia Pacific creating their Sales Training Academy, consisting of a range of programs that are now being replicated globally. The Academy includes topics such as strategic account planning, building trust with customers, questioning and listening skills, rapport building, presentation and pitching skills, negotiation, closing deals and objection handling. James also runs Google’s One Voice program across the Asia Pacific region. This is Google’s latest presentation skills program and focuses on teaching teams to present more effectively “as one team”. 

 

He is a frequent public speaker and has had a lot of success coaching teams and individuals on major presentations, bids and pitches. Having run workshops across Australia, Europe, China, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, the US and India, he is well versed working with different cultures. 

 

James brings substantial commercial experience have held senior consulting roles with two of then ‘Big 5’ Professional Services firms in Australia, as well as sales roles with Fortune 500 companies in London. James has also recently published the sales book “Who’s doing who the favour” which is available on Amazon.
